Gallery. Clu, which stands for Codified Likeness Utility, was a hacker program written by Kevin Flynn and played by Jeff Bridges. Clu looked just like his user, Flynn, but talked in a very different voice than his human counterpart. He is one of the few characters in the TRON Universe to have yellow circuitry.

Clu (Codified Likeness Utility) is a security program first created by Kevin Flynn to infiltrate the MCP's domain, then - as Clu 2 - later used as security program in the Flynn's Arcade Grid. Kevin Flynn / Clu: Bruce Boxleitner Alan Bradley / Tron: David Warner Ed Dillinger / Sark / Master Control Program: Cindy Morgan Lora / Yori: Barnard Hughes Dr. Walter Gibbs / Dumont: Dan Shor CLU was created by Flynn to bring order to the Grid. This lead to the eventual coup and genocide of the ISOs (Quorra's "race" of programmes). After many cycles bringing 'order' to the Grid, CLU simply felt that doing the same to the real world was the natural next step to his original directive from Flynn, especially as he saw the real world as Tron is a security program, created by his user, Alan Bradley, whom he resembles physically, initially leading a digitized Kevin Flynn to believe that Tron was Alan himself. In Tron: Legacy, he was reprogrammed by "CLU" and transformed into the evil enforcer, Rinzler, serving as the secondary antagonist. Codified Likeness Utility 2.0, or simply known as CLU 2 or Clu, is the main antagonist of TRON: Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 film TRON, and the overarching antagonist of both TRON: Uprising and TRON: Evolution. Clu was originally created by Kevin Flynn to help him design the Grid and was fUqEOFQ.
